Accessibility statement
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website, learn about our work and contact us. If something gets in your way, please tell us.
Our target: WCAG 2.2 level AA and the ADA
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the widely used standard for accessible websites. We see this as part of serving everyone under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
We have not had an independent audit, so we do not claim that every page fully meets the standard. We treat any barrier you report as something to fix.
What we have done
- Pages use clear headings, landmarks and a “Skip to content” link, so screen reader and keyboard users can move around quickly.
- Menus, buttons, links and forms work with a keyboard. The menu keeps focus inside while it is open, closes with the Escape key and returns focus to where you were.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off its decorative animation and every section stays readable.
- The homepage showreel video has no sound and plays only while it is on screen. It has a pause and play button that works with the keyboard. It does not start by itself if your device is set to reduce motion, or, in browsers that report it, to save data.
- The main content is readable without JavaScript.
- Pages fit narrow phone screens without scrolling sideways.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
- Forms have visible labels and explain errors in words, and the contact details are always available as an alternative.
How the site was tested
Our automated test suite checks key pages with the axe accessibility engine against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules, at phone and desktop widths. The same suite checks keyboard use of the menu and skip link, reduced motion, pages without JavaScript and layouts on narrow screens.
Automated tools cannot find every barrier. Our testing so far has not included a full manual review with screen readers.
Known limitations
- Pictures of client websites on our work pages are images. Text inside them is not read out, so we describe each project in the page text and in the image description.
- Some parts of the site come from other companies, such as the Cloudflare bot check on forms and the Google Calendar booking page. We choose them with accessibility in mind, but we do not control how they work. If one blocks you, contact us by email or phone instead.
- Our clients' websites, which we link to, are run by the clients and are not covered by this statement.
